We highly recommend D&A Custom Painting. Daniel, the owner, and the crew did an excellent job painting the exterior of our home. In fact, it was the second time we hired them to paint our home. Daniel does an outstanding job of managing the whole process from start to finish and the crew is very adept at their trade. They were timely, pleasant, accommodating, and cleaned up every day. They also did a lot of extras that exceeded our expectations. Look no further, you have found the best!

It's not every business that gets only 5 Star reviews, but I'm adding my 5 Star review here for the excellent work D & A Custom Painting did on the exterior of our multi-story home. In the 30 years we've lived here we've had the exterior painted at least 3 times. The previous painters did pretty slipshod work. Not Daniel! They prepped for a couple of days, pressure washing, caulking, filling, every crack and imperfection before they even put on a primer. The trim work, also was exceptional. They pressure washed the back deck which since it's on the north side of the house had considerable, lichen, etc growing. It looks brand new now after their pressure wash. I had planned to paint the front porch myself and told him to leave it off the estimate. He painted it anyway! In the end, the final price was less than the estimate based on lower cost of supplies. We couldn't be more pleased.

Our experience with Daniel and D&A Custom Painting was exceptional. We found out about Daniel when we watched his company paint the neighbors house. I was impressed with the time and detail used during the preparation that included caulking all gaps (amazing detail) and exterior repairs followed by priming the house, cut in, two coats of final paint sprayed and back rolled. When it was time to have our house painted we got several estimates and D&A Custom Painting was competitive. When they started painting our house his team worked steady from start to completion. Initially, I walked and inspected the job every day to discuss any discoveries with Daniel only to find he had already addressed them. In the end I felt complete confidence. My parents also used D&A Custom Painting and there project went the same. I highly recommend D&A Custom painting.

These are very talented painters. We can't get over the quality of their work. It's perfection. They painted our entire interior, walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, and it's flawless. Daniel and his team are friendly and professional. They met our very tight deadline with ease and the price was fair. Look no further if you need a painter. You won't be disappointed.

Through rain and all, Daniel and his team were: detailed and thorough! 2-3 days to prep before primer, Full exterior paint trim and all. Cleaned up daily. Communication: prompt. The even covered our neighbor's car to ensure no errant splatter on a slightly windy day. Thank you again!

I'm writing this review now as previously Daniel was only known by word of mouth...and I was one of the lucky ones to hear of him and "shared" him with others! I was referred to D&A Painting in 2000 and have used them ever since. They painted the interior and exterior of my 1100 sf home in the East Bay to perfection! They've also painted the exterior once and interior twice of my 5000 sf', 2 story home, with 30' vaulted ceilings in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Aptos to perfection as well. Daniel and his crew are beyond professional in addition to being incredibly honest, reasonable, knowledgeable, helpful and every other positive thing you'd want in a company that's coming into your home. Any areas that needed touch up or weren't done "quite right"... or ought I say, up to Daniel's expectations...was taken care of leaving my home looking beautiful. They are SO honest that I trust them alone in my house and leave to do things while they're here. I look forward to seeing Daniel and his crew again soon!! Those that chose D&A Painting will not be disappointed.

I first used D&A painting in 2014 and they did a superior job at very fair price. They also came with great recommendations. Earlier in 2014 Daniel the owner, a young man, had a stroke so he had some physical deficit but a very bright man that knows the painting business. This year 2020, I wanted the two sides that get the harsh sun evaluated and repaired as needed. Daniel came to evaluate and we walked the outside of the house together. His workers did a wonderful job. All of the house was power washed. All damaged areas repaired beautifully. Daniel came back at the end so we could walk the job again. There was a small area the workers had missed and Daniel had it finished immediately. He also also did several helpful things like repairing my gate because it was hard to open. I really appreciate this company.Barbara Carrigg

They were doing work at a neighbor's house so I have them look at two homes I have for an estimate. They were very promote (next day appointment) and the owner went to both homes himself. The scope of work is clearly explained. Both estimates were very reasonable. I didn't end up using their service due to a misunderstanding. But my neighbor's house looks very nice and I will be sure calling them on next painting job.

Daniel and team did a great job on our whole house paint work. They kept things clean, were very considerate of our plants and other things they had to work around and the quality of the work is excellent! Angelo and Ruben were super friendly and answered all of our questions throughout the job. Check out the picture - looks like a new house!

This company has done work for our family twice! That's how great they are. No mess left after they are done. Not on the windows, not on the ground around there job either. Superior job, superior paint. Plus, they repaired some wood rod places & use fire blocked wood. Their attitude toward us was always kind & polite. Would hirer again & again. Thanks D & A Custom Painting.

D&A Custom Painting has been my exclusive painter for the last 20+ years. I have had dozens of painting projects completed by them during this time. All projects were completed on time and at a reasonable cost. The quality of work and the attention to detail will make D&A Custom Painting my exclusive painter for the next 20 years.
